My Survey Ends Affiliate Program

My Survey, my most favorite survey site, has just announced that they will no longer take members through affiliate links.

They write:
"Thank you for your participation in the MySurvey.com Affiliate program. We have enjoyed working with you to bring new members to MySurvey.com. It is our hope that the affiliate program has been a successful and rewarding experience for you as well. Over the past few years there have been many changes and advances in the internet and we have begun using a variety of new methods for finding new MySurvey.com members. At this time we have decided to focus on these new methods and will therefore be closing the MySurvey.com Affiliate program."

Despite this change, I am still very happy with My Survey. Over the years I've been a member, I've cashed out over $200.00. There are no long preliminary surveys only to be told that you don't qualify for the survey that actually pays money.

Signed Up with Survey Spot

Yesterday I signed up with SurveySpot.com. It is a site where you take surveys that you qualify for, and are rewarded with cash. Most of the rewards are in the form of chances to win in drawings, but you get entries for the drawings even when you don't qualify for surveys.

There are weekly winners of $50, and quarterly winners of $25,000. Wow... of course one person out of some large number will win this. There are also occasional instant winners of $250. All payments are by PayPal or with Amazon gift cards.

When you qualify for and complete a survey you are rewarded with points. When you get 1000 points they can be redeemed for $10 cash.

So far, I have earned about 70 chances in the drawings, and not completed a single survey. There was one that I qualified for, but the interface locked up when I was going to a new page, and it simply flipped me out to the end with more chances to win prizes.

I'm pretty stay-at-home vanilla flavored, so you may qualify for more surveys than I ever will.

Your Daily Surveys Doesn't Seem Worth the Time

YourDailySurveys

I signed up a couple of days ago with Your Daily Surveys. There was a link on Neobux that said I could get a whole DIME, for completing just one survey. So I clicked over there and signed up. That part was easy.

I clicked to qualify for a survey and had to answer quite a few questions before being told that I don't qualify for that one. It took 7 tries before I qualified for a survey. It was supposed to take 15 minutes and earn me 50 cents. I completed the survey and then was presented with about 10 screens of optional offers to sign up for. I had to hunt for the button on each one to skip it. I finally got to an offer that I couldn't find a way to skip it, so I simply closed the browser tab.

I have not been credited for completing the survey. I have not received the 50 cents or the 10 cents. I went the next day and started in again with being told that I don't qualify for several surveys. Perhaps if you are in a different demographic than I am, you might be able to complete more surveys. As far as I'm concerned it's not worth the time.

Update 11/16- I did receive the credit, both on YDS and Neobux, However, I have not qualified for a single survey since that first one. It takes about 15 minutes to work through all the possibilities to see if you can take one, so that becomes quite expensive. Time is money!

Squishy Cash is Just Plain Annoying

Squishy Cash is just plain annoying. I read on a blog much like mine about someone who made some reasonable daily cash there- several dollars a day. So I went to check it out.

You can earn money by completing surveys, playing in site lotteries and contests, and a few other tasks. Payment is through Amazon, Check or PayPal, with a $20 payout minimum. However, most of the paying opportunities are by signing up for various offers. I am rather leery of these kinds of things anyway, even though my email is pretty much available to anyone who wants it. But when I started looking at them there was a lot of information needed for most of the offers. Many of them are the kind of deal where you have to sign up for 3 of these offers, and 2 of these offers, and then you get something else. They take a lot of time, and most are worth less than 50 cents.

There are five daily surveys that you can take which are worth 50 cents each. However, unless you are in some other demographic than I fit into, you will have to fill out 5 or 6 screens of information and then will be told that you don't qualify for the survey.

I just don't feel that it's worth my time, and I think that's saying something since I do a number of other small-paying offers. However, if this kind of thing appeals to you, Squishy Cash has collected a lot of these offers into one place.

Pine Cone Reasearch Surveys

Pine Cone Research is a part of Neilson, as in the TV Neilson ratings. They are much more focused on collecting information than on providing money-making opportunities for participants. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed being a part of the surveys.

For one thing, their status makes me more confident that the surveys are well-designed and that my input really might mean something.

Surveys pay $3.00 which is paid promptly by PayPal. However, there may be several "pre-survey" questionnaires which earn you only an entry into a drawing for $500. I am sent (by email) about one paid survey a month.

They are very serious about screening participants for integrity. You must sign an agreement every single time that you will not reveal anything about the new products in the surveys.

Finally, there is no link that I can give you to sign up. You may occasionally see an ad appear for Pine Cone Research while you are surfing the web. If you are interested in participating, don't ever skip this and just assume you will click it another time, because you may never see it again. Click the link, apply, and see if you can get accepted.

Express Your Opinion and Earn at MySurvey.com

My Survey Banner Ad I have been a member of MySurvey.com for several years, and I really like the opportunity to express my opinion on various products or household practices. You won't get rich there, but over the years I have cashed out over $200. Most surveys are only worth a dime apiece and take about 10 minutes, but sometimes they qualify you for a longer survey worth $1.00 or more.

Some survey sites are looking for more specialized participants, but MySurvey will accept anyone who signs up. I receive notices of surveys around a rate of 2 per week, sometimes more, sometimes fewer. You do need to do them within a couple of days or they will expire.

You can invite friends to join MySurvey and get credits for them. Each time you complete a survey it also enters you into a contest drawing for more points, and every day that you log in you are entered in a daily drawing for points.

Points can be redeemed in cash, discounts on specific products or donated to a variety of charities.

It's really a no-hassle way to have some fun, voice your opinion, and earn a little bit while you are doing so.
